Studio portrait of 2828 Private (Pte) Walter Cecil Vandenberg, 6th Reinforcements, 18th Battalion, of North Sydney, NSW. Pte Vandenberg enlisted on 2 August 1915 and embarked on HMAT Euripides from Sydney on 2 November 1915 for service overseas. He returned to Australia on 27 August 1917.
