Description
Studio portrait of 3973 Private (Pte) Roy McIntyre Warren, 4th Light Trench Mortar Battery. A shipwright of North Sydney, NSW. He enlisted on 30 August 1915 and embarked on HMAT Suevic from Sydney, on 20 December 1915 as part of the 12th Reinforcements, 13th Battalion. Upon arrival in France, Warren transferred to the 4th Light Trench Mortar Battery. He was killed at Bullecourt, France, on 11 April 1917, aged 24 years.
