Studio portrait possibly of 5232 Private (Pte) Eric Adam Bock, 16th Reinforcements, 13th Battalion, of Redfern, NSW. Prior to enlistment he was a glass blower. Pte Bock enlisted on 17 January 1916 and embarked on HMAT Star of Victoria from Sydney on 31 March 1916 for service overseas. He returned to Australia on 24 June 1916. Pte Bock then re-enlisted with the service number 66888 in the 23rd Reinforcements on 29 May 1918 and embarked on SS Wyreema from Sydney on 14 October 1918 for service overseas.
