Kit inspection on the deck for members of the 3rd Australian General Hospital (3AGH), aboard the ship RMS Mooltan en route to England. The 3AGH were reinforcements of Medical Officers and nursing sisters to 1st Australian General Hospital (1AGH). 4384 Corporal Cook, George Amonet Freeman, of Chippendale, NSW, is identified extreme right, standing behind his kit, with a moustache; and 4371 Private Albert Henry Downie, of Woonona, NSW, aged 17 (centre, behind officer with white hair). The two officers conducting the inspection (both wearing white shoes) are Major John Arthur Hopkins Sherwin and Colonel Thomas Fiaschi (centre with back to photographer).
