M368 106 mm Drill Cartridge Transportation Chest for M40A1 Recoilless Rifle
Description
Wooden transportation box for M40A1 106 mm recoilless rifle munitions. The box is capable of holding two catridges. The box is constructed from pine planks which are nailed and braced to form a rectangular transport container. The box is painted olive drab, has two metal hinges attached to the opening lid and is secured by a metal latch which has provisions for a pad lock. Rope carry handles are attached at each end for manhandling. Markings - CART 106 MM; M368 DUMMY; EOD TARGETS ONLY.

Wooden transportation box used to transport two cartridges for the M40A1 106 mm Recoilless Rifle. The boxes were employed when the M40A1 Recoilless Rifle was on issue to the Australian Army.
