Studio portrait of James Edward Quinlan of Coolamon, NSW. He served in the Second World War as NX35443 Lieutenant (Lt) Quinlan, enlisting on 20 June 1940 and serving with the 2/19 Battalion. Lt Quinlan was killed in action in Malaya on 22 January 1942, aged 26.
