Studio portrait of 426535 Pilot Officer (PO) James Harold Nimmo Cleminson, 180 Sqn RAF, of Atherton, Qld. PO Cleminson enlisted on 18 July 1942 in Brisbane, Qld. He trained as a pilot and was posted to the United Kingdom. After his arrival there he was attached to 180 Squadron, RAF. After some time in operations, Cleminson was flying on a mission over France on 21 August 1944 during which he was killed in an aerial battle.
