Description

A cartoon depicting members of the Australian Defence forces- a soldier, airman and sailor- marching behind the figure of a goddess, a symbolic depiction of Australia as a woman, wearing a helmet and carrying a sword and shield bearing the words '154th Year of Freedom' on it. The cartoon refers to Australia, as an ally, defending Australia's freedom, during the Second World War.
