Description
Khaki cotton service tunic with plain stand collar and pointed cuffs. Tunic has two breast pockets, each with a small general service button. The front is fastened with five brass buttons.
History / Summary
Worn by Private George Bodley during his service in South Africa in the Boer War. Bodley was born in Otago New Zealand in 1879. He enlisted in the 5th New Zealand Contingent in April 1900 and served with it until his discharge in August 1901.
