Description
Members of the 4th Reinforcements, 7th Machine Gun Company, grouped informally waiting to embark on the troopship RMS Orontes. Identified, left to right, front row lounging; unidentified Corporal (Cpl); unidentified Private (Pte); 330 Pte James Thomas Rudolph, storeman of Rockhampton, Qld; unidentified. Second row kneeling: all unidentified except extreme right, 333 Gunner (Gnr) Walter Percy St Henry, 18 year old grocer of Brisbane, Qld. In the centre back row is a soldier is playing a banjo. Note this soldier is also in PB0686.
