Description
Members of the 4th Reinforcements, 15th Machine Gun Company (MGC)and another unidentified MGC, grouped informally waiting to embark on the troopship HMAT Orontes. Identified far right, kneeling, 333 Private (Pte) Roy Clive McLean, of Richmond, Vic; 339 Pte John Robertson Thomson, of Castlemaine, Vic (second from right beside McLean); and beside him is possibly 332 Pte John Wells McIntosh, his name surrounded by the outline of Australia. All others are unidentified.
