Description

Members of the 9th Reinforcements, 10th Field Artillery Brigade, grouped on the wharf beside their troopship, RMS Orontes. Identified, left to right: front row, second Lance Bombardier; third row, possibly 31662 Acting Bombardier Frederick Herbert Booth, of East Perth, WA; unidentified; unidentified Lieutenant; 31661 Wheeler Sergeant William Richardson, 43 of Beaconsfield, WA. Gunner Booth was killed in action on 4 October 1917 at Ypres aged 25.
