German Navy Tally Band : Geleitboot Emden
Description
Sailor's black ribbon cap tally, with gold embroidered lettering "GELEITBOOT EMDEN".
History / Summary
This tally band from Geleitboot Emden, the fourth Germany Navy ship with that name. It was donated to the Memorial in November 1964 by SMS Emden veterans to mark the 50th anniversary of HMAS Sydney and SMS Emden battle.
