Description
Pair of black leather three quarter length German jackboots (Marschstiefel) as worn by other ranks. The boots are of a treated suede finish. They have no toe-caps, and each has a pair of black webbing pull-on straps sewn inside the uppers. The heels are bound with metal, the outside edge of which is stamped '20-R' or '20-L' respectively. The soles are hob-nailed with the toes capped by screw-on metal plates. The insoles are stamped '28 1/2', and a square leather label sewn to the outer pull-on strap of each boot reads '28 1/2 4' with an illegible stamp in ink below.
