History / Summary
Worn by NX12149 Sergeant Horace William Mills, HQ 9 Australian Division. Born 20 July 1904 and a resident of Gunnedah, NSW, Mills enlisted on 13 April 1940 at Paddington, Sydney, and was discharged on 19 July 1943, upon his return to Australia. The "T" shaped patch was approved for use by the 9 Division in recognition of their service during the seige of Tobruk.
