Eye piece : Watkin Mekometer Mark I
Description
Black painted cylindrical brass and leather eye piece for fitting to the Watkin Mekometer Mk I. This is the shorter of the two eyepieces supplied for use with the Mekometer, and is attached to a wooden handle (REL32655.004) by a length of cord.
History / Summary
Unknown. Mekometers are generally used for range finding and position location in the field. They are also used in conjunction with many types of artillery pieces including the 9.2 inch Howitzer.
