Description
Five unidentified members of 9 Platoon, C Coy, 1st Battalion, The Royal Australian (1RAR), crouch in the thick vegetation during a patrol in the Songgok area in Korea, east of the Samichon River. On the night of 13-14 September the patrol encountered 20 Chinese near the bank of a creek. During the fighting a Chinese soldier was captured, the first to be taken by 1RAR.
