Wedding portrait of NX5449 Corporal (Cpl) John Charles Arney and Ethel May Regan. A motor mechanic prior to enlisting on 3 November 1939 at Narromine, NSW, Cpl Arney joined the 2/3rd Battalion at Ingleburn, NSW. He embarked for service on 7 March 1940 and was discharged on 8 March 1945.
