Description
Autobiographical account, titled 'Operation Scupper', written by NX96541 Sergeant (Sir) Reginald Barnewall. It describes his involvement in 1942 in this planned commando mission to destroy a radio transmitter that was being used by Vichy French supporters to provided coded information to the Japanese forces regarding allied shipping, air and troop movements in the South West Pacific Area.
