An unidentified officer (wearing light coloured trousers, centre) conducting a pre-guard inspection of national servicemen's weapons. The soldiers are armed with Short Magazine Lee Enfield (SMLE) rifles and are attached to C Company, 13th National Service Battalion based at Bardia Barracks, Ingleburn.
