Four First World War Light Horse veterans riding through a Melbourne street during the 1973 Anzac Day march. Identified, left to right: Captain Hayden Ewart, 2nd Light Horse Regiment (LHR), aged 82 years; Sergeant Stephen Nankervis, 15th LHR, aged 78 years; Lieutenant James 'Jim' Forrest Holland MC, 14th LHR, aged 86 years; and Major Andrew 'Andy' Crawford, 8th LHR, aged 85 years. Ewart, Holland and Crawford took part in the Gallipoli campaign, and all four men later went on to serve in the Second World War.
