Informal portrait of 401970 Flying Officer (FO) Thomas Trevor Laidlaw, No 4 (Army Co-operation) Squadron (4AC Squadron) RAAF, on a beach holding an aircraft propellor in each hand. FO Laidlaw was killed whilst on operations over New Guinea on 6 September 1943.
