Description
An unidentified Allied Prisoner of War (POW) standing in an open wooden hut with what appears to be trunks of medical and dental supplies on the ground in front of him. This hut is part of Roberts Barracks which was converted into a hospital to cope with the hundreds of wounded who were transferred to Changi POW camp from Military hospitals after the fall of Singapore. This image was secretly taken by Major John Rosson and the camera and negatives were kept hidden from the Japanese throughout his internment.
