Gregory, George (Leading Torpedoman)
Description
Six page letter written by Leading Torpedoman George Gregory to his mother on 24 May 1936 describing a visit to Gallipoli while serving on HMAS Australia. Gregory gives a detailed description of what he sees and recounts the battle of Lone Pine. Also included in a copy of a photograph of Gregory on board the ship.
