Description

Improvised postcard made from cardboard from a cigarette box. At Gallipoli paper was scarce, so men had to use what they could find in order to write to their loved ones. This Postcard is dated 6 June 1915 to Mrs G Holdway from her son Cecil. Cecil Holdway enlisted on 18 August 1914 and returned to Australia in September 1918.
