Informal group portrait of the medical personnel of the 3rd Australian General Hospital (3AGH) grouped in an outside corridor of the hospital about to inspect the wards. Identified are Colonel Newmarch, Officer in Charge of 3AGH (centre with his hands behind his back holding a flywisk); Matron Grace Margaret Wilson on his left, Sister Elma Mary Linklater on her left. Others present but not identified are: Colonel Stuwell, Colonel McNight, Major William Trethowan, Captain Arthur Howes Guymer and Warrant Officer Griffiths.
