History / Summary

Due to the extremely cold conditions faced by Australian ground troops in Korea, they were issued with both American and British cold weather combat clothing such as these over-trousers. These over-trousers are British made and issued and they would of been worn over the regular battle dress trousers of Corporal Kenneth Campbell Goudie, of the First Battalion Royal Australian Regiment (1RAR) when he served in South Korea between 31 May 1952 and 12 March 1953.
