Description
An unidentified Australian soldier hoists a local boy, wearing a santa hat, onto his shoulders at the 'Tour of Duty' concert at the 'Stadiun Municipal Dili', the main stadium in the East Timorese capital. Another soldier dances to the music beside him. The concert, with performers including Kylie Minogue and John Farnham, is providing entertainment to Australian troops spending Christmas in East Timor and to a live television audience in Australia. The soldiers have been deployed to East Timor as part of the Australian led International Force for East Timor (INTERFET).
