Collection relating to 407822 Warrant Officer Alister McGregor Currie MBE, 12 and 458 Squadron Royal Air Force, Europe, Second World War. Collection comprises service documents, log books and diaries and a letter documenting Currie's imprisonment ain Stalag V111B. The log books contain entries for 24 November 1940 to 21 December 1941 and June 1941. The diary documents the period from 22 January to 3 February 1945 and describes a march undertaken by prisoners from Stalag 344 to Gorlitz VIIIA. An undated typed letter to an ex-prisoner of war also details the experience of the march.
