Studio portrait of 22805 Stoker William George Barron, RAN, of Adelaide, SA. Stoker Barron enlisted on 1 February 1939 and was serving on HMAS Parramatta when he died on 27 November 1941. He was buried at sea aged 21 years. The portrait is set in a graphic montage and the words ‘For King & Country’ surmount the image in a banner. Stylised aircraft, a tank and ship surround the wreath and flags surround the central portrait.
