Studio portrait of 425328 Sergeant (Sgt) Arthur Stephen Long, of Brisbane, Qld. Sgt Long enlisted on 1 February 1942 with the RAAF and was posted to the United Kingdom and served with 15 Squadron, RAF, as a navigator. He was killed in action over France on 1 June 1944 whilst on operations to bomb railway yards at Trappes near Paris, France.
