A signboard, headed "OKONDIN ABALOA PALAMENT", illustrates the concepts of King Tore's 666 Movement, operating near Sovele, Nagovis district. The Kastom (custom) and cult movements have flourished on Bougainville since the arrival of Europeans. These movements have played a pivotal but largely unrecognised role throughout the civil war in Bougainville.
