A group of official guests (civilians and Australian Army officers), watch a parade of Australian troops serving with the British Commonwealth Occupation Force (BCOF) in Japan. The parade is being held at Anzac Park, Kure, Japan, to honour the Prime Minister of Australia, the Right Honourable Robert G Menzies, during his inspection tour of Australian units serving in the Kure area. Seated in the front row, left to right are: Mr W R Hodgson, Head of the Australian Mission in Japan; Air Marshal G Jones and Mr J R Willoughby, personal assistant to the Prime Minister. Other guests are unidentified.
