Description

After ‘beating the boss’, the winner of the British Commonwealth Occupation Force (BCOF) elimination shoot to select its representative at the King’s Medal competition in NSW next month, is congratulated by his boss. The winner, Driver C R Essex of South Grafton, NSW (left), is personal assistant to Lieutenant Colonel (Lt Col) R H Marson, commander of the Force’s Tokyo area (right), who is congratulating him. Lt Col Marson represented BCOF in the King’s Medal last year, and coached Driver Essex for this year’s shoot, as well as competing himself.
