Description
The grave of NX31696 Acting Sergeant (A/Sgt) Cecil 'Cess' Martin, 2/20th Battalion, attached to Tulip Force, of Murwillumbah, NSW. A/Sgt Martin was part of a mission to provide technical aid and training to Chinese guerillas operating against the Japanese in 1941. He died of illness on 15 July 1942, in China, aged 26 years. He is buried at the Christian burial ground near Tungku, Kiansi, China.
