Advertizing signs outside a Japanese tailors. From top to bottom the signs in English and Turkish are designed to attract both "Anzacs" and their former Turkish enemies, now allies under the United Nations (UN) flag. The signs read " Best today, Still Better Tomorrow", Embroidery, insignia, ribbon, dress, shirt and woven-mark (spin-mark), followed by one in Turkish "Turk. Rutbe isaretleri var! Buyurun! and finally one decorated with a painting of a kiwi that says simply "Kiwi's shop"
