Description
A GMC, CCKW-353 two and a half ton truck from the 126th Transport Platoon, Royal Australian Army Service Corps (RAASC), integrated with 3 Company, Royal Army Service Corps (RASC), slowly negotiating a stretch of roadway that has been reinforced with a section of timbered Bailey bridge. Several weeks earlier a number of British Hussars were killed at this spot when the roadway collapsed due to heavy rains and no chances can be taken as the co-driver (right) signals his mate to move cautiously forward.
