Description
Josiah Francis, Australian Minister for the Army (right), is on a tour of Australian forces in Japan and Korea in December 1951. During his trip he is inspecting troops, conditions and equipment, as well as meeting with senior officers with the British Commonwealth Occupation Force (BCOF) and the British Commonwealth Forces Korea (BCFK). On his arrival at the RAAF base at Iwakuni, he is being greeted by Group Captain A G Carr, Commanding Officer of 91 Composite Wing RAAF (left), and Brigadier I R Campbell, Commander of the Australian Military Forces Component, BCOF and BCFK (centre).
