Description
Josiah Francis, Australian Minister for the Army (right), is on a tour of Australian forces in Japan and Korea in December 1951. During his trip he is inspecting troops, conditions and equipment, as well as meeting with senior officers with the British Commonwealth Occupation Force (BCOF) and the British Commonwealth Forces Korea (BCFK). Here he is boarding a vessel which will take him to Kure. Following him is Brigadier I R Campbell, Commander of the British Commonwealth Base at Kure.
