Description
Josiah Francis, Australian Minister for the Army (right), is on a tour of Australian forces in Japan and Korea in December 1951. During his trip he is inspecting troops, conditions and equipment, as well as meeting with senior officers with the British Commonwealth Occupation Force (BCOF) and the British Commonwealth Forces Korea (BCFK). Here Mr Francis meets with an unidentified patient and a Royal Australian Army Nursing Corps (RAANC) sister, in a British Commonwealth hospital in Japan. Christmas decorations have been put up around the ward.
