Description
George Holland, President of the Returned Services League of Australia (RSL), is on a tour of Japan and Korea. Here Mr Holland is paying his respects at the United Nations (UN) Military Cemetery, Pusan, South Korea. He is kneeling by the grave of 25354 Private (Pte) Leo Michael Ahearn of the 3rd Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (3RAR). Pte Ahearn died of wounds in Korea, 3 September 1952. Note, Pte Ahearn's surname is incorrectly spelt, Ahern, on the cross.
