Blue RAAF kitbag : Leading Aircraftman CW Pascoe, Royal Australian Air Force
Description
Standard blue RAAF kitbag, with reinforced brass eyelets around the opening and a closing flap for protecting the contents. Reverse of the flap is stamped in black: 'A^F / N85 / 1944'. A metal carrying loop is sewn into the base of the bag.
History / Summary
Associated with the Catalina service of 37760 Leading Aircraftman Cyril Winchester Pascoe, Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF). Cyril Pascoe was born at West Maitland, New South Wales on 30 May 1923. He enlisted into the RAAF on 8 July 1941 and was discharged on 14 May 1948 while serving with the Eastern Area Headquarters.
