Capt Jenny Plummer, Medical Officer (right) assesses the condition of a local woman who had fallen off the back of a truck, while Captain (Capt) Kristy Sturtevant, Nursing Officer, keeps control of the woman's cervical spine (the vulnerable part of the spine in the neck), with the help of a collar. The Australian soldiers are members of the 1st (Australian) Field Hospital (1 Fd Hosp) resuscitation team, on deployment with INTERFET, the International Force in East Timor.
