Description
Two soldiers man a British Ferret armoured car, with British Army Registration Number 33BA69, which is attached to the 28th Commonwealth Brigade, Far East Strategic Reserve. It is being used as a perimeter defence vehicle to guard the QF 25 pounder field guns of B Troop, 105th Field Battery. There is a Browning .30 calibre machine gun mounted in the turret. In the backgound are two GMC, CCKW-353 two and a half ton trucks. Stencilled onto the front bonnets of the vehicles are B3 and B4, denoting that they are being used as artillery tractors for guns three and four of B Troop, 105th Field Battery. These trucks also have the Australian Army Registration Numbers (AARN) 74121 and AARN 142695 stencilled to the side of their bonnets.
