Studio portrait of photo journalist Stephen Dupont in traditional Afghan dress. Stephen Dupont travelled to Afghanistan numerous times in the 1990s and 2000s, documenting the country's ongoing civil wars. This portrait shows the photographer around the time that the United States and Australia became involved in military action against the Taliban regime in Afghanistan, following the terrorist attacks of 11 September 2001.
