Portrait of 415168 James Francisco Moran from Wagin, Western Australia (WA) who participated in No. 18 Course 4 SFTS (Service Flying Training School) pilots course at Pearce Aerodrome, Cunderdin, Geraldton, WA, in 1941. He enlisted in the RAAF on 21 July 1941, was promoted to Warrant Officer and was killed in a flying battle over North West Europe on 20 February 1944 while flying with 466 Squadron, RAAF.
