Portrait of 406892 William Holden White from Shenton Park, Western Australia (WA) who participated in No. 18 Course 4 SFTS (Service Flying Training School) pilots course at Pearce Aerodrome, Cunderdin, Geraldton, WA, in 1941. He enlisted in the RAAF on 28 April 1941, was promoted to Sergeant and was killed in a flying accident at Bairnsdale, Victoria on 1 February 1943 while flying with No. 1 Operational Training Unit, Bairnsdale.
