Portrait of 415208 Frank Watson Wildy from Cottesloe, Western Australia (WA) who participated in N.o 18 Course 4 SFTS (Service Flying Training School) pilots course at Pearce Aerodrome, Cunderdin, Geraldton, WA, in 1941. He enlisted in the RAAF on 21 July 1941, was promoted to Flying Officer and was killed in a flying accident at Bairnsdale, Victoria on 17 November 1942 while flying with No. 1 Operational Training Unit, Bairnsdale.
