Description
In spite of the semi-tropical Korean rain, Private (Pte) Ian 'Tubby' Byrne of Mt Lawley, Perth, WA, (probably 51086 Pte Maurice Ian Byrne), prefers to work without his shirt. Even though it rains, the weather at present is extremely hot. Pte Byrne, assisted by Korean soldier, Eum Wee Seob, is building a culvert to carry away floodwaters in a Kansas defence line position. Pte Byrne has been in the Australian Army for five and a half years.
