Description
When the 1st Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (1RAR) in Korea is ordered out for a practice occupation of their defence positions in the Kansas Line, everybody is allocated a job. The cooks and clerks and engineers, as well as the riflemen, all take part in the drill and must move their gear to function in the battle positions. The Regimental Police (RP) have the vital job of traffic control. Here, RP 26239 Private Colin Brian Brown of Bingara, NSW, sets up a TAC sign to mark the route for the drivers of the convoys that carry the troops to their new locations.
